William D. Hutchinson, CFA
President and CEO
Portfolio Manager
Bill received a B.A. from Gettysburg College and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. He began his investment management career with DuPont Glore Forgan in 1972. Before founding Hutchinson Capital Management in 1995, Bill was a partner and portfolio manager with Shuman Agnew and with Shuman, Schneider & Hutchinson. He is an active member of the CFA Institute, the CFA Society of San Francisco, and the Investment Adviser Association. He is a past member of the Commonwealth Club Board and its Executive Committee, as well as the University of California San Francisco Investment and Sub Trust Committees. He has served on the Sonoma Academy Board and as President of the Sleepy Hollow Homes Association. Bill and his wife, Gail, have four children, and three grandchildren.
Ronald P. Goldstein
Vice President and Portfolio Manager
Ron received a B.S. degree in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University and a Certificate in Personal Financial Planning from the University of California at Berkeley. Before joining Hutchinson Capital Management in early 1999, he worked for over twenty-five years in financial management positions in private industry and then for six years managing his own Investment Counseling firm. Ron’s responsibilities include portfolio management, serving on the Investment Committee, fixed income purchases, and new client development. Ron is active in the community, and is now serving as the investment adviser to the Scholarship Foundation for Drake High School in San Anselmo and to the League of Women Voters of Marin County. Ron and his wife, Sandra, have two grown sons, and one grandson.

Steven K. Wilkes, CFA
Vice President and Portfolio Manager
Steve received his B.S. degree in Economics from St. Mary’s College in Moraga, CA, and an MBA, with concentration in Finance and Investments, from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana. Prior to joining Hutchinson Capital Management, he worked as a Vice President and Portfolio Manager for Wells Fargo’s Private Asset Management division where he had $450 million under management. He was also a Portfolio Manager for Leylegian Investment Management. He brings with him over 17 years of wealth management and financial analysis expertise. Steve’s responsibilities include portfolio management, serving on the Investment Committee, and new client development. Steve is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of San Francisco. Steve resides in San Francisco with his wife, Liz, and their three children.

Gage T. Houser, CFA
Vice President and Portfolio Manager
Gage received his B.A. degree in Economics from the University of California at Los Angeles. Prior to joining Hutchinson Capital Management, Gage was an Institutional Fixed-Income Salesperson for HSBC Securities and Credit Suisse First Boston in San Francisco where he covered pensions, foundations and mutual funds for fixed-income products. Gage also worked as a Financial Consultant at Merrill Lynch for four years where he advised families on their investments. Gage’s responsibilities include new client development, portfolio management and serving on the Investment Committee. He is a member of the CFA Society of San Francisco. Gage lives in Marin with his wife and three children.

Kelli Frostad Toledo
Vice President and Director of Operations
Kelli joined Hutchinson Capital Management in August 2008. She brings over twenty years experience in the investment industry to our team. Prior to joining our firm, Kelli spent ten years in the wealth management area working at ThinkEquity Partners LLC and Banc of America Investment Services (formerly Montgomery Securities Private Client Services). Her new responsibilities include building and maintaining multiple client reporting databases, portfolio management support, technical liaison, training, managing personnel and ensuring accuracy and efficiency on a daily basis. Kelli recently returned to Mills College to complete her degree in Economics. Kelli and her husband, Frank, reside in Oakland, CA.

Maria Rosario P. Aguirre
Head Trader/Senior Associate Portfolio Manager
Maria earned her B.A. degree in Economics from the University of the Philippines. She began her career in investment management operations in 1996 with W.D. Hutchinson and Associates, which later became Hutchinson Capital Management. She went on to work as operations analyst at Sand Hill Advisors in Palo Alto for two years. She returned to Hutchinson Capital Management in 2004. With almost thirteen years of industry experience, Maria is responsible for managing trade operations and provides support for the senior portfolio manager. She also assists in training other staff members in all areas of operations.

Elyse Sheridan
Senior Associate Portfolio Manager
Elyse earned a B.S. in Education from Boston University and a certificate in database design from Bay Area Computer Training. Before joining Hutchinson Capital Management in 2001, she worked for Shaw Dehghan Enterprises as a sales manager for ten years and then as an executive assistant for an online retail company. She has a strong background in client services, training and computer software. Her responsibilities include database management, client services, portfolio administration, and assisting in all areas of operations. Elyse and her husband Patrick have a grown daughter and live in San Rafael.

Lucille Kilkenny
Associate Portfolio Manager
Prior to joining Hutchinson Capital Management in August 2007, Lucille worked for over thirty years in the accounting field for large financial firms such as Bank of America, GT Global, Charles Schwab and Essex National Securities. Her responsibilities include overall support in operations and client service and general assistance to the portfolio managers. Lucille lives in San Rafael and has two grown children and one grandson.

James J. Marchi
Chief Compliance Officer
Jim received his B.S. degree in Accounting from the University of San Francisco and MBA from the University of California at Berkeley. Prior to joining Hutchinson Capital Management, Jim was a staff accountant and examiner for the Securities and Exchange Commission, assigned to the Investment Adviser and Investment Company branch. Before that he worked for the Pacific Exchange, designing and implementing surveillance systems to comply with SEC regulations and Pacific Exchange rules. His primary responsibility is to design, manage, and oversee compliance at Hutchinson Capital Management in accordance with SEC rules and regulations, and also those of other governing entities. Jim lives in San Francisco with his wife, Lisa, and his two small children.

Patricia W. Thompson, CFA
Analyst
Patty received her A.B. degree in Economics and Mathematics from Dartmouth College, and her MBA from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA. Prior to joining the team at Hutchinson Capital Management in 2006, Patty worked for more than twelve years in the institutional investments and finance arena before taking time off to enjoy motherhood. She was the senior analyst in the Investments and Benefits Finance Group at Pacific Gas & Electric, where her team oversaw the investment of over $12 billion in assets. She also spent several years working for the investment technology firm, Barra, where she assisted large pension fund clients with portfolio risk analysis, performance attribution, and benchmarking. She brings a wealth of institutional investing and analytical expertise to our team. Patty is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of San Francisco. Patty’s responsibilities include assisting the Investment Committee in the firm’s research effort and working on various special projects as needed. Patty and her husband have one child and reside in San Rafael.
